Durability: I was a bit shocked how tough this case was actually. My first "uh oh" moment is usually Velcro flap, a material which has a tendency to be damaged easily, become a mess and eventually become fairly useless; but that's not the case with this case. The Velcro is extremely resistant and even after numerous openings and closings I saw no damage at all, no mess fibers, no nothing.

The case itself was the most impressive, it stood up to my typical array of damage and only came out with a single scratch that took a bit of force to make, so this case is going to take a while for you to destroy if you are abusive, otherwise this thing should basically last forever. The material (neoprene) proved to be extremely resistant and shock proof, a winning combination. Additionally, the case does have a fixed belt clip, but it's also coated in the material, which should drastically increase it's life span as well.

Design/Functionality: This case, being a universal case, is obviously designed to accommodate a large range of devices, something that typically means that the case isn't very universal at all or something that doesn't fit well, but Body Glove has achieved a near perfect balance. Out of all the phones I have lying around here at the office (several hundred), I could only not fit two inside this case, an ancient BlackBerry of epic proportions and a phone the size of a small handbag, all the others fit, and all the smartphones fit wonderfully. The neoprene material and design of the case made many of them perfect fits, just as good as cases designed for individual phones to my great surprise. Ironically, small phones are more of a problem than large ones, since they can slide around in the case and potentially still get damaged in very violent situations, but if you have a mid range to large size phone, it should fit perfectly if it was made in the last few years.

The case is pretty simple otherwise, it has a Velcro flap to keep closed, which stays in place well, but isn't a pain to remove; as well as a fixed in place belt strap, the only thing that loses points in my book. Just for fun, it also comes in two colors, plain old black and a black/pink hybrid, and both look great.

Conclusion: This is the best universal case I've ever seen or used, and I would recommend it to any smartphone owner.
