This belt clip package focuses on a retractable tether like design, to insure not only the safety of your device from taking the plunge, but also keeping it safely with you at all times.

Like most tether clips it works using a retraction system, and it works great, just give it a slight tug after pulling to the desired distance and it will stay that length and then just give it another short tug and it will retract. The system doesnt seem cheap or clunky at all, and holds up very well. In addition, the cable is 28 inches long, so you should have no trouble getting it to a comfortable length. Additionally, the manufacturer of Gear Keeper will replace the cable and any worn parts if it happens to get damaged or wear out for a mere $8.

To attach the cable to your device you really only have one option: the lanyard. If your device does not have a place to attach a lanyard, no fear, it comes with one you can affix to your phone with a simple adhesive strip; making this tether-clip work for any device appropriate for your waist.

It does have one big glaring problem though, the belt clip, it needs a definite redesign. Its extremely hard to attach since it has no clip to force open, you have to literally pry it open to put it on or use quite a bit of force to shove it onto a belt clip or pocket. Fortunately, once on, it shouldnt need to be removed for several hours.

All in all, a sweet little belt clip package, although it could use a better belt clip.
