Well, I suppose that technically, this may count as the number one bestselling HTC G1 case, if you count sales of accessories that are bundled with the device. Yes, this is the case that the G1 comes with, and it's actually pretty good and the one I still use myself.

It's a simple black pocket design with a little label with the G1 logo on it and is composed of a semi-soft material on the outside and a soft microfiber like material on the inside. For a very basic and affordable case it does it's job well. The only real issue being that it could be improved without changing it up is the tightness it keeps on the phone; as the phone can slide out easily, which is a pain if you place it in your pocket upsidedown or pick it up wrong, only to have it slide out to a concrete funeral. Additionally, without a fastener or any kind of lid, one edge (top or bottom of your choice) isn't well protected and can be fairly easily damaged.

Intentional or not, the inside does make a great cleaner for your screen as well, just put it inside, get a firm grasp and move the phone around to get a nice clean screen.

Without any parts and a simple, elegant design, this case should last you a very long time. This is a great case if you just want to put your phone in your pocket or purse without any hassle or frills.
