Overview: OtterBox is renowned for their great quality, durable cases, and this silicone skin case in their Impact Series definitely lives up to their reputation and quality. Combine their cases with a screen protector and your BlackBerry Tour 9630 is well protected either to be thrown into your pocket or your purse.

Durability: This is definitely the area OtterBox cases are made for, this silicone skin provides amazing protection for everything short of environmental hazards and things landing on the screen directly. In addition the skin itself is also surprisingly tough, it doesn't show any signs of wear or damage after repeated stretching pulling, even after taxed well beyond what it should experience in normal use. Being a silicone case, slicing is probably your biggest worry, but this one stood up very well; but I still wouldn't chop it with the vegetables.

Design/Functionality: The design is simple yet effective, but it won't win many awards for looks. It gives you access to all your normal functionality, ports and buttons, and it makes great user of button covers that keep the buttons on your BlackBerry Tour 9630 very easy to use while keeping them protected. The case's design also makes it very easy to grip, so it won't be sliding out of your hand onto the concrete either. This skin does seem substantially better than the previous cases in the line I have tested; I had some issues with the case being a bit flopping around the edges before, but they seemed to have changed their formula as the case is now much tighter and a bit harder to stretch, both great changes.

The case does leave the front of your BlackBerry Tour 9630 exposed, so you keyboard/screen is probably your biggest worry, but otherwise this is a fabulously tough case by a great manufacturer for a bargain.
