Fommy Product Review:

Samsungs new line of bluetooth headsets provide a large range of quality products in each price range. Some feature innovative design, others feature time-tested technologies while some try new things altogether. The 700 in Samsungs WEP series provides a very slim, sleek headset.

The only issue I ran into this headset was echo, which is actually caused by one of the headsets boons, volume. The headset has quite a volume range, and out of the box it WILL be loud. This can create a feedback/echo due to the microphone picking up on the speaker. Quite simply, turning the volume down to an appropriate (and not deafening) level should fix this. This problem might be self remedying in a busy area though when sufficient background noise triggers the noise cancellation.

As far as the actual noise cancellation goes, it worked, but wasnt amazing. It certainly did an excellent job at reducing the background levels by about 50%, but it wasnt 100% gone by any stretch in my basic testing.  Otherwise, once the echo problem was resolved, the audio quality was fantastic and a bit surprising. You definitely get what you pay for in this one.

As far as design goes, it definitely gets my seal of approval in comfort. It is easily one of the most comfortable, and non-intrusive headsets Ive worn, all while managing to stay in place even without the (optional) ear hook. If youre looking for comfort, this is definitely a winner. It isnt the smallest headset though; its quite large in all its dimensions; even so, its still very light and manages to not feel bulky on you ear. And like most of the other headsets in the WEP series, it features a simple but effective three button layout (main control button + two volume buttons) that were just right in terms of usability and accessibility.

Last, but not least, It has excellent talk time at six hours and a whopping two hundred hours of standby time; and as well, its Bluetooth version 2.0.

Overall, if youre looking for a headset that delivers great audio quality and all-day comfort, this is an awesome choice.
