Samsungs new line of bluetooth headsets provide a large range of quality products in each price range. Some feature innovative design, others feature time-tested technologies while some try new things altogether. The 210 in Samsungs WEP series provides excellent quality in a small, affordable package.
It has a pretty simple three button design. Both of the volume buttons are located on one side though, and it can take a bit of time to get used to their placement, especially if you switch ears frequently; but it supports the usual litany of headset of features. The ear-hook is removable as well, and sits tight enough in my ear canal at least that I would consider it optional; not to mention it being surprisingly comfortable (with and without the hook). And if you arent tech savvy, no worries, it couldnt be any simpler to setup unless it read you the directions.
The battery life is decent at up to five and a half hours of talk time and/or seventy hours of standby time (nearly three days) and it does support Bluetooth version 2.0.
This headset has one major drawback though, the outgoing audio quality can be muffled, but there is a simple solution. The problem lies in the small door at the bottom of the device that houses the power cable, but also the microphone. The door has a cut out for the microphone, but its apparently too small to permit appropriate levels of sound to pass through. The easy solution is to simply open the little door, significantly improving the audio quality. I cant tell you to permanently remove it, since that would void the warranty; but trust me, it sounds much better with it open. The incoming audio quality is thankfully great by default.
